Iguazu to Sao Paulo

 Travel day & night today.

I'm enjoying another relaxing morning in the rain forest.

Just finished breakfast and now taking some time to update today's plan and blog.

It is 8:30 am now. I need to be at the bus station at about 12:30. I have 4 hours to  chill, shower and pack.

I will get a bus to the border at 1, clear immigration as the Argentina / Brazil border. Another bus will take me from the border to Foz de Iquaçu in Brazil. I will have a few hours wait there until boarding the overnight bus to Sao Paulo at 5 pm. The planned arrival in Sao Paulo is about 10 am tomorrow morning.

I arrived at the bus station on time and boarded the bus to border. At the Brazil immigration post, we exited our bus, processed through immigration and then waited and waited. For sure over an hour before the Brazil bus picked us up to take us into the city of Foz de Iguaçu the bus terminal. Foz de Iguaçu is much bigger than Porto Iguazu on the Argentine side of the border. I suspect that the people living their cross the border a lot to shop in Brazil.

The bus station was really nice. It even had a coin laundry. If we didn't end up waiting so long for the bus at the border, I would have had time to do laundry.

I did have time to get something to eat and rest in the cushy seating inside the bus companies VIP lounge before boarding.

At 5 pm we boarded and headed out for the long ride to Sao Paulo.

The seats on the bus are comfortable, but not comfortable enough for restful sleep.

Not much to write today. Just another travel day.
