Lima, Peru 2 day 2
I woke up early, and made some coffee. I took my coffee and tablet up to the terrance to do my morning reading and social media with a view of the ocean.
I decided to go the Museo Nacional de ArqueologĂa, AntropologĂa e History del Peru. I didn't have any time restrictioins for the day so I decided to take the bus.
There is a park fronting the museum, not a lot of vegetation, there was a fountain and statue in honor of Simon Bolivar. More about Simon later. I also past this carving in a tree stump in the park.
The museum was larger than I anticipated. The main focus was the history of leaders within the territory leading up to formation and independance of Peru as it is today.
After the museum I decided to go to scope of the bus station. But this time I took an Uber. I was almost 25 minute ride to the bus station for only about $6 usd. Such a deal.
As long as I was at the bus station, I thought I might as well buy my ticket for tomorrow. I booked a bus for 11, so I wouldn't have to rush to get ready in the morning.
After getting my ticket, lazy me, again took at Uber back to the hostel.
After getting back, I went to buy some groceries at the supermarket here to take with me to Paracas. I don't know how good the stores will be when I get there.
